Shipping Policy

Order fulfillment and delivery policies for OpenStorageNAS.com.

Orders placed before 4:15pm PT Monday–Friday are processed the same day. Orders placed after 4:15pm PT Monday–Thursday are processed the next business day. Orders placed after 4:15pm PT on Friday are processed the following Monday. Orders placed on a holiday are processed the next non-holiday business day. Once your package ships, we send an email with the tracking number and link. You can review your order status any time at Your Account.

Expedited Shipping Disclaimer

When selecting overnight or two-day shipping, we will process and fulfill your order promptly if the product is available in our warehouse. However, if the item is out of stock, we will source it from our distributor.

While the cost of overnight shipping remains the responsibility of the customer, we will refund the shipping fee in the event of significant delays caused by the distributor. Delivery times are subject to the distributor’s processing and shipping schedule.

Digital Licenses

Digital licenses are custom-generated by the manufacturer, typically within 1–3 business days, to ensure they are secure, unique, and ready for activation.

We send your license as soon as we receive it. If you do not receive it within 1–3 business days, contact us at [email protected] and our team will assist promptly.

Tax Certificate

If you hold a valid tax exemption certificate, submit it to [email protected]. Once received, we will remove any applicable local and state taxes from your order.

Ensure the certificate is current and valid for the state where the purchase is being made.

Shipping Carriers

Orders are shipped primarily by UPS and FedEx, but we may use DHL, USPS, or another freight carrier at our discretion. We may also use any available service to ship orders if delivery time is not negatively affected (for example, a customer near our warehouse who orders 2-day shipping but receives a ground package that arrives within 2 days).

Shipping Rates

We charge flat rates for domestic orders placed on our website; however, if a shipment is unusually heavy, the shipping charge may be increased. In that case, the customer will be contacted first and a shipping price will be negotiated. Some items may ship from different locations, and ground delivery times may vary.

The above rates do not apply to international orders. Please call 800-886-5787 when placing an international order to obtain a shipping quote. You may provide your own shipping account number and designated carrier by calling 800-886-5787.

Late Shipments

If your shipment arrives late, you must notify us at 800-886-5787 within 14 days (including non-business days) of delivery to be eligible for a refund. Because other factors may play a part in delayed shipments, shipping refunds are approved on a case-by-case basis.

Electronic Delivery

Certain products may be available for electronic delivery via email. These include software activation codes and license keys. Restrictions may apply.

Sanctioned Destinations

Notice — Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) implements U.S. Government sanctions against the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

All products purchased are not permitted to be shipped out of the region where the products were purchased. It is against U.S. law to export products to the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.
