TrueNAS’ iSCSI/Fibre Channel is integrated with VMware snapshots and supports VMware VAAI, Microsoft ODX, and is integrated with Microsoft VSS for user-driven instant recovery.

OpenZFS is a next-generation file system in every regard from its self-healing bit rot mitigation to its flexible snapshotting and replication.
